Search on GEMM | | | This is an incredibly good LP. Many of Al Hirt's LPs get a bit too much for me. His style, while flamboyant and humorous, can get annoying. Not so here, as Lalo Schifrin arrangements provide sumptuous backgrounds with bossa nova guitars, swirling, surging strings, and great percussion. Al's trumpet wails over the top and sounds great. |
