Search on GEMM |  | | These Blue Juice compilations are really out of this world. And I think perhaps volume 3 is the best of all. I believe the whole series is curated in the UK, which is why one doesn't see these discs in the US. Almost every track is an incredibly funky/quirky/rhythmic masterpiece from the 60s/70s. The selection is diverse, with latin jazz (Ray Terrace), cinematic easy listening (Ferrante and Teicher, John Gregory), vocals (Peggy Lee's funky version of 'Sitting on the dock of the bay') and several other uncategorizable concoctions. Very highly recommended. |
