As you would expect from the title, it's all Bond themes, with the exception of labelmate Leroy Holmes's 'I wanna be a james bond girl'. The CD has dreadful re-done artwork and little in the way of details. However, the sound is fine, and the music is an extremely pleasant mix of jazz and latin beats. In particular, the piano and percussion stand out. There isn't really a bad track, although at the same time not every track is a complete world-stopper. If I had to pick the best track, I'd probably choose the boogaloo version of 'thunderball'. It's all top draw though, and I would recommend that people pick up this inexpensive but rather obscure CD while it's still available. |
