Search on GEMM | | | One of the better Mongo LPs that I've heard. This has a nice Latin groove to it, and is thankfully free of the rather nasty saxophone sound that's on 'Stone Soul', one of his later albums that I have. This is a nicely recorded album, with big hits of the time like 'walk on by' (my favorite), 'call me', 'satisfaction' and 'I got you'. |
