Post a comment Search on Ebay Search on GEMM | | An interesting concept album about catching 'dollies' - birds I guess. There are some reasonable/middling tracks and a few stormers. One of these, ‘But she ran the other way’, was on the ‘easy project’ compilation. The other two winners to my ears are ‘explosive corrosive joseph’ and ‘I was made to love her’, which are both very hip almost-funky tracks with nice percussion and organ. | John Schroeder recommendations at Musical Taste It takes a thief
| Links for John Schroeder http://www.chrisspedding.com/session/js/js.htm This is actually a page by Chris Spedding, a session guitarist who played on some of his records. However, it's fascinating to me for its rare cover scans and details from Schroeder's obscure but often brilliant 'Vibrations' series, released on Polydor in the UK in the early 70s.
