Search on GEMM | | | I had coveted this record for some time. It's not one of his more sought after titles, but I wanted it because Claus Ogerman did the arrangements (apparently Cal liked the work he did with Jobim, and wanted to work with him). It's very nice, although slightly straight ahead sounding. On first listen, the best track is 'Just friends', which has a cool wordless vocal chorus, reminding me of Alvino Rey's great My Reverie LP. | Cal Tjader recommendations at Musical Taste

A reasonably new site put together by the people behind Rudy's corner for Cal Tjader enthusiasts. All that's there right now is a short discography and a user forum, but the forum is quite active, making the site very useful.
