Search on GEMM |  | This is a budget label Italian disk with an excruciating cover. There are 15 or so tracks, all by the guitarist Bruno Battisti D'Amario. On 8 of these tracks, the vocals are credited to 'Edda' (aka Edda Dell'Orso). Most are familiar bossa nova standards, but there are a couple of nice originals as well. I now know that one or two tracks from this made it onto the 'metti, una bossa a cena volume 2' compilation.
It's pretty tasty stuff, with some typically over-the-top and enjoyable Edda vocals. |
