Search on GEMM | | | Bought because I really enjoyed the late 50s Chico Hamilton I have on the Pacific Jazz Label. Also, it has Willie Bobo and Gabor Szabo on it, so looked like a winner. And a beautiful cover. However, it didn't turn out to be remotely 'pop' enough for me. The tracks are composed almost exclusively by Szabo and Hamilton (individually). I didn't find much I enjoyed on first listen. |
