Post a comment Search on Ebay Search on GEMM | | A very cool record, featuring some of the session musicians who often played on Command records of the time. Particularly prominent is Dick Hyman on harpsichord and organ. The whole record has a really cool mid 60s swinging feel.. A couple of the selections are actually from Alex North's 'Cleopatra' movie score; the others are standards which were thought to be relevant (e.g. 'temptation', 'lover man'); there's also a cool Al original, 'cleo baby'... Overall a very cool, if not super-'hip' record. | Al Caiola recommendations at Musical Taste For a Few Dollars More Underwater Chase Midnight Swim
